I just listed to your audio book of the Lazy' girl's diet... and found it to be very inspiring and it gave me much hope to loose the weight that I need to co tinue my life. I think you covered so many issues and were so honest in how you presented your experience strenght and hope. I know about Oprah's weight issues from her time in Baltimore and my particpation in a seminar called iets don't work, Your book is a cut above that and it is based on nutritional facts and the growing problem of obesity in the world. i don't understand why you haven't been on already, since your stand for the things that she does. Six years ago I made a $500 bet with a friend that I would be able to manifest an appearance on The Oprah Show. I have just one more year to make it happen and so on June 11 2009 I packed my bags and headed to the USA to make that dream happen.

Oprah, I am coming to get you baby!

“I wanna be on Oprah!”

Now, I’m not just some weirdo stalker fan (okay, well maybe just a bit) but I also have some substance to my life and one helluva story to tell as well.

These are the reasons I reckon Oprah would love to have me on her show:

I used to be a giant heifer. Yep, morbidly obese weighing nearly 300 pounds (130 kilos). Then I lost a whole person in weight.

Whilst doing so I filmed my weight loss and it became a documentary called “Larger Than Life”

Whilst doing that I broke my leg, ended up in a wheel chair but didn’t stop going.

Transformed my life

While doing that I kept a diary which became the best selling Confessions of a Reformed Dieter

Then when thousands of women wrote to me begging me to help them I created a website dedicated to helping women transform their life. That website is myhealthybodyclub.com.

Then when women wrote to me and begged me to tell them exactly how I lost an entire person from my body -150 pounds (60 odd kilos), I then rather reluctantly wrote The Lazy Girls Guide To Losing Weight and Getting Fit.

I say reluctantly because I never wanted to be called a diet queen or be considered a weight loss guru, I was just a fat chick who was sick of killing herself with food and decided to change her life - one meal at a time.

Then, wanting to do something for kids I wrote the kids book Blubberguts.

Then life got really really really hard for me. It was only a little later that I found out my beautiful son had Aspergers which is a form of autism. That explained sooooo much!

All I concentrated on was my son and helping women through my website. Everything else got left behind. That nearly landed me in jail earlier this year. Thankfully I was saved.

I continued trying to help other women by dedicating my life to the website and running Boot camps around Australia to help bring isolated women together.

Then one day I got a phone call asking if I wanted to audition for The Biggest Loser. I thought it was a friend having a laugh so I didn’t return the call.

They kept ringing. I kept not returning the calls.

They persevered so I thought to myself, “Don’t they know I’ve already lost the weight?”. They explained it was for the hosting role, not as a contestant.

Guess what? I got the job. Wow!

Life was very interesting being in the public eye and also being a working mum to a child with Aspergers. Boy was life hard!

Then I proceeded to get fat bashed solidly by the media and the viewers for four years. I got hate mail telling me to get on a treadmill and websites were dedicated to how fat I was or wasn’t at the time.

My weight fluctuated by about 12 pounds (5 kilos) and whilst I was winning the battle against my obesity, everyone, my bosses included, were unhappy with my weight issues. Most hosts are six foot tall and stick insects. I was a normal curvy girl who was just happy to not have to shop in the supersize section.

My work put me on a public diet during season 4. I had to weigh in each week and depending on how much weight I lost would depend on how much money they donated to charity. Boy, talk about pressure. I lost another 30 pounds (12 kilos).

My son and I battled on with his disorder and I am in the process of putting the finishing touches to my next book, Brown Texta, which is all about his autism and the path we have walked in getting a diagnosis and dealing with it.

My website is relaunched and members will not only have the support of each other but now each member can get fit and raise money for their chosen charities. Change your life and change the world. Love it!

I am raising money for autism charities worldwide by holding a dress auction - the Magic Wardrobe Auction. I am asking celebrities and designers of all shapes and sizes to please donate a dress that is special to them. We will then auction them off and donate the money to help our kids in need.

I am now in the USA and have my beautiful boy with me, risking everything for this opportunity of a lifetime - to walk the hallowed path to Holy Grail of talk shows. Oprah!!!!!!!

And so, this is my path. I MUST get on Oprah and tell my story. Please join my cause.

Over the next few months I will be interviewing people who have been on Oprah, discussing hints and tips on how to get on and what to do when I get there. I’ll be doing some crazy stunts and generally just recording my journey to the Big O!

I will also be interviewing other hopefuls who have the same dream as me. Together we are not alone!!!! Haha that sounded so poetic! Der! Of course together we are not alone!

Did you know I have sent my book to Oprah three times? I received a response once saying she received lots of books and to not expect a reply.

One time I sent a little koala and a jar of vegemite in it. I didn’t hear back that time.

Another time I sent it to someone who knows her. Still waiting……..come on Oprah!!!!

This time, things will be different.
