Laughter is the best medicine
Just getting settled in before really getting down to business. A week and a half till Kai goes to camp so we’ve got a little bit of touristy stuff to do whilst setting ourselves up over here.
But first we needed a little Muff time. Two of the Muffs have kids and they are the same age (Kai is one - known as Poppy Love Muff and the other known as Prince of Muff and yes they have t shirts too) so they are very excited to be spending some boy time together which leaves the adult Muffs the time and space to have a girls night out.
And what better way to leave all our worries behind than go to a drag comedy show and have front row seats - the best “package” deal around……haha get it? Package!!! Yep okay. Moving on then.
This show is one of LA’s best kept secrets. It is hilairious. Seriously, side splitting pants wettingly funny. I laughed so much my tummy hurt and it’s been a while since I had such a great belly laugh.
It’s Charlie’s Angels meets Love Boat meets Jim Carrey’s Latin alternative ego living in a parallel universe on speed. Sooooooo funny. And with the weight of the world on my shoulders having made such a big move and made such a leap of faith it really was a good way to leave my troubles at the door and have a few hours of humorous distraction.
They have just shot an online pilot which you can check out at http://www.chicosangels.com and I have absolutely no doubt that they will go much further than this cute little comedy theatre in LA.
And starting off what I hope to be a fun and crazy tradition I am now officially introducing my “Hi Oprah” series of clips.
Coming to get you O!
I had a giggle at the videos - thanks for the link
